Konami hires new Senior Director of Marketing

Reback has extensive experience with brand-driven business strategy, casino marketing, and casino operations. In addition to serving as a marketing executive for several gaming organizations, his experience includes market research, product development, and intellectual property law.

Most recently, Reback served as the vice president and assistant general manager of the Sunset Station casino for Station Casinos, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire property. While employed with Station Casinos, he also served as the director of marketing for the flagship Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa.

Reback will report directly to Steve Sutherland, chief operating officer at Konami Gaming, Inc., who explained, “Matt is a strong addition to Konami’s leadership team. His extensive background in marketing, brand strategy, operations, and proven ability to lead in this industry will further strengthen Konami as our business continues to grow.”

Prior to his employment at Station Casinos, Reback served as the senior director of brand management for Caesars Entertainment, where he was responsible for marketing and brand strategy for the Harrah’s, Showboat, Harvey’s, and Grand brand properties. His education includes a juris doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles.
