What is your opinion about SAGSE 2012? How did you see the show?
I think this year’s edition of SAGSE fairly reflected the current situation in Argentina. Although there was a reduced exhibition floor space, the main players in the industry were still present and expecting to see an upturn in the most important market in South America for next year.
How do you evaluate the quality of the visitors? What do the operators came from?
Despite observing significantly reduced number of visitors compared with previous editions, SAGSE still successfully attracted the visit of the most important local operators in Argentina, as well as some key operators from other countries in the region, like Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.
What can you tell us about the products that you have presented?
We exhibited a representative mix of our portfolio of products for the Gaming Industry, including our renowned bill validators Money Controls Ardac Elite and CashCode SM, the peripherals integrator PayLink, alongside coin payments like the money Controls Universal Hopper and Money Controls Condor Premier coin validator.
What is your opinion about the Argentinean industry?
The Argentinean Gaming Industry, just like most local industries, is dependent on imported equipment, and suffering the consequences of the strict regulations that are in place at this time. We hope that this situation will improve for next year and look forward to a more relaxed 2013.
What are your main plans for next year?
We are committed to providing our customers with top quality cash handling solutions and the best post-sales support. For the Argentinean market in particular, despite the existing depression in the industry, we will be reinforcing even more our already solid local support structure for next year. We have just launched our new website www.craneps.com so 2013 is set to be an exciting one for us.
