This represents a significant development in the strategy of SG Gaming, a division of Scientific Games, to enter the Italian interactive gaming sector and expand its interactive business internationally.
The first game to launch on the platform is the popular Crown Jewels, which has been approved by theregulator AAMS. Plans are in place to release a number of other games before the end of the year.
Alex Stephens, Managing Director of Interactive Business at SG Gaming, said: “Italy is a vibrant marketplace with significant growth potential for internet gaming. This is a big milestone in the evolution of our global interactive presence.
“Eurobet has already established a strong position in Italy. They have a management team that has significant betting and gaming experience and knows what customers want, which has helped it become one of the leading companies in this sector. This resonates with our vision and approach so we are delighted to have reached this agreement with them.”
Marco Trucco, Head of Gaming at Eurobet Italia, added, “SG Gaming’s innovative internet games have proven extremely popular in other geographies, so we are excited to bring them to Italy. We are looking forward to building on our relationship with SG Gaming to bring more exciting content to our players.”
