From November 2 to 14, the agency revealed that 6,418 France-based players transferred a total of 3.07 million euros from FullTilt Poker to accounts at PokerStars.fr while stating that less than 1 million euros of the overall total remains to be claimed.
ARJEL declared that 75 percent of the aggregate amount of money owed to France-based players by FullTilt Poker has now been refunded with the process set to remain open.
After over a year out of action, FullTilt Poker finalised a three-way agreement with PokerStars and the US Department of Justice in July that saw it hand over its assets in return for its rival agreeing to honour some us$ 184 million owed to players based outside of the United States. The site relaunched for real-money play earlier this month but has yet to be licensed by a European jurisdiction although its account pairing process allows customers to withdraw any funds via PokerStars.
For its part, PokerStars declared that it was still in the process of finalising a similar arrangement with Italy’s Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS) regulator. Players in non-regulated countries are currently able to enter the relaunched FullTilt Poker domain in order to enjoy its games, transfer funds or withdraw them directly.
