SAGSE concludes today its 20th edition in Buenos Aires

The second day of exhibition confirmed the touching profile of the event, in which, although the public has not assisted on a large scale, and with a lukewarm start, as the hours rolled, there was more public even than on the first day. Regional operators gathered, as well as national and international regulators, giving the event a professional business profile.

During the day, several awards were given to personalities of the sector. Among them, the “Golden Eagle” was received by top executives such as Gavin Isaac (SHFL Entertainment), Sebastián Salat (WMS) and Héctor Luna (Codere Argentina). Besides, received recognitions the authorities of Casino Santa Fe, and a plaque was given to Jorge Asan, from Permaquim, who will retire this year after a long career in the industry.

Giorgio Gennari Litta himself received a commemorative plaque for its 20 years together with the market, given by Argentine company BCM, and Novomatic received the members of Miss Gaming Argentina, as part of a recognition from its organizers for the support of the Austrian company to the beauty contest.
On the closure of the second day of exhibition, the organizers offered a big party. Visitors and exhibitors were honored with a cocktail, musical and magician shows, and the culminating moment of the night was the traditional SAGSE awards ceremony.

Monografie authorities honoured this year Casino Club with its top award, due to its 20 years in the industry, and Ricardo Benedicto and Héctor Cruz thanked the award, together with the great team of collaborators of the firm that went on stage to receive the award. Besides, other companies awarded were Novomatic, IGT, SHFL Entertainment, DLV, Merkur, JCM, D T Ktor, Insert Coin, Foster Casino Suplier and the Chamber of Casinos and Bingo Halls of the Province of Buenos Aires (CASCBA).

At the closure of the awards ceremony, Giorgio Gennari Litta thanked assistants for their support and perseverance in accompanying SAGSE during its successful tradition as a Latin American event and received an award by his own work team, which, this way, honored the creator of the Buenos Aires event. Today, the show will conclude another edition in Argentina, confirming, despite the difficulties that the Argentine market is living, its character as a great Latin American exhibition, mandatory for the operators and manufacturers that are part of the regional gaming market.
