SAGSE Buenos Aires reaffirms its relevance after 20 years of work

SAGSE Buenos Aires doors opened punctually at 14,30 p.m., after the inaugural ribbon cut held by organizers of the event, national authorities and businessmen, and although the beginning was a bit slow, during the afternoon the public assisted to Costa Salguero Exhibition Center to live a new edition of the show.

This edition, Argentine operators, to a greater extent, and several regional representatives, found a very wide product offer, because the big international companies showcased their latest developments, which were presented for the first time in G2E last month.

Besides, the crisis that the sector of providers is going through in Argentina, due to limitations in the importation of equipments, sustained by the National Government, affected the normal development and growth of the event, which this year was a little bit smaller than in 2011. In this sense, some of the top international exhibitors also decided to reduce their booths in square metres, maintaining their support and trust in the event organized by Monografie.

Firms such as IGT, Aristocrat, SHFL Entertainment, WMS, Merkur, Zitro, Novomatic, Konami, Bally, Ainsworth, Interblock and Belatra, among other top international companies, had wide exhibition spaces, in which they offered novelties and state-of-the-art products in the slots sector and in systems. In this sense, a remarkable presence of Magic Dreams, TCS John Huxley, Heal Technologies, JCM, Permaquim and DLV, among others, sum up a total of 120 companies that in this dition integrate SAGSE Buenos Aires offer.

The national industry also was very well represented at the event, with important booths from firms like BCM, Sielcon, Selton, Ed Roberts, Permaquim, Goody Group, Dayco and Foster Casino Suplier, among many other companies; while national lotteries offered this year their traditional support, adding attraction to the event.

Yesterday morning, SAGSE authorities received an award to their 20 years of experience with the industry. Yogonet directors paid tribute to Giorgio Gennari Litta and the rest of his team, living him a commemorative plaque in the opening of the conferences organized yesterday and today within the event.

This way, SAGSE Buenos Aires lived a positive first day in its 20th edition, showing, against all obstacles and difficulties, its relevance in the market. Today the exhibition will open its doors again after midday to offer a new trade event, that will conclude with a cocktail organized by the authorities of the show, in which they will celebrate their first 20 years of work together with the Latin American gaming sector.
