SHFL seeks injunction against Paradise

(Macau).- Casino equipment maker Shuffle Master Asia, the Macau subsidiary of SHFL Entertainment, is seeking a Macau court injunction to prevent rival firm Paradise Entertainment from claiming monopoly rights over multigame electronic table products in the city.

The news was given in a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by Paradise Entertainment, reported Business Daily.

The new injunction would aim to restrain Paradise and its subsidiaries LT Game and Natural Noble from “making any representation or expression on any monopoly right” over multi electronic table games in Macau.

The dispute dates back to 2009.
