(Botswana).- Bally Technologies announced the implementation of its sophisticated systems solutions at three Peermont Global casinos in the Republic of Botswana. The implementations at The Grand Palm, Sedibeng and Syringa casinos follow Bally’s previously announced enterprise-wide systems contract partnership with the Peermont Group to replace competitors’ systems at 10 casinos in Botswana and South Africa.

“We are excited with the journey we are about to embark on with Bally systems solutions and the many new benefits they will provide our operations,” said Peermont’s Billy Gray, Group Gaming Slots Executive. “The new functionality will not only provide significant operating efficiencies, but will give us better and more ways to reward, retain, and communicate with our customers.”

Gray added, “It is refreshing to see a better customer-service experience in our operations, and we’re very excited to continue to leverage this platform to gain differentiated advantages from our competitors. The installation process in Botswana went well, and Bally and Peermont are working smartly together to ensure a seamless roll-out in the South African casinos in the months to follow.”

The Botswana systems installations are Bally’s first in the southern African region and provide the sophisticated casino operator with Bally’s first-ever powerful combination of cashless and cage functionality in the region that is delivering significant cost savings and operating efficiencies. Peermont is also the first casino in southern Africa to use Bally’s TableView real-time table-management solution to automate the rating process, track table-game play, and reward table-game players.

The use of Bally’s next-generation solutions provides Peermont’s operations with the ability to do slot-based progressives across all game manufacturers and provide players at Peermont’s Botswana operations with such features as auto top-up play, which was not previously available across all game manufacturers.

“It is an honor to have been selected by one of Africa’s leading gaming operators to provide our systems solutions for their growing enterprise,” said Ramesh Srinivasan, Bally Technologies’ President and COO. “We are pleased about how smoothly the implementations have gone in Botswana, and are excited to see our solutions implemented across the Peermont enterprise, adding value and streamlining tasks and processes at Peermont’s well-run operations.”

Under the enterprise-wide agreement, Bally Technologies is providing Peermont with a host of leading systems solutions including the SDS slot-accounting system for Windows; CMP for player tracking; the Elite Bonusing Suite’s Power Winners; TableView real-time table-management solution; iVIEW Display Manager (DM) player-user-interface displays; Bally Business Intelligence for group-wide analytics and campaign management; the CoolSign media-management tool; and a cashless mag-stripe solution through SDS.
