Gaming revenue in the first 10 months of this year was us$ 31.4 billion, 13.5 percent more than in the corresponding period last year. Mr Neves didn’t provide any forecast for 2013’s growth rate.
Sterne Agee analyst David Bain said on Friday that he is expecting Macau’s casino gross gaming revenue to post a 15-percent year-on-year increase in 2013.
Mr Bain wrote in an industry report that he expects Macau to record us$ 2.97 billion in casino gross gaming revenue in November, up by 6 percent year-on-year. “Our December estimate calls for us$ 3.18 billion, or up by 10 percent year-on-year,” he added.
