How do you evaluate your participation at G2E?
G2E 2012 was an outstanding success for MEI. Between the interest in our products and the constant foot traffic, we were busy the entire time.
What are the main characteristics of the products that you have presented?
MEI chose to showcase the SC Advance note acceptor and EASITRAX Soft Count product extension.
SC Advance evolved from the winning CASHFLOW SC design. It incorporates the latest technology and customer feedback to deliver enhanced recognition technology, faster note-to-note speed, improved barcode recognition and the increased capacity to accept up to 100 different notes and denominations. SC Advance also has the industry’s best first-time acceptance rate for valid street-grade notes, including those that are damp, crinkled or torn.
The addition of EASITRAX Soft Count to SC Advance creates a comprehensive cash management system by networking the slot floor to the soft count room. EASITRAX works by gathering data from multiple note acceptors and funneling that information into a secure database that can be accessed from a single remote location to manage assets, validate drops and analyze slot performance.
How did the visitors respond?
Visitors responded positively to all aspects of MEI’s presence. They were very pleased with our current portfolio and optimistic about the products we have on the horizon.
What are your main plans for the short term?
MEI will continue to deliver products and services that innovate and add value to the worldwide Gaming industry. EASITRAX Soft Count and the evolution of SC Advance are just two examples of how we are already driving the market forward, and our ongoing success reflects the importance operators place on high acceptance rates, best jam performance, unrivalled security and the lowest cost of ownership.
