On display was the new gaming platform from Quixant, the QXi-4000, which is based on AMD’s embedded R-Series APU with integrated AMD Radeon HD7000G series graphics and is capable of driving up to four independent HD screens. It is available with both Dual and Quad Core processor variants up to 2.1GHz (to 2.8GHz with boost) and supports up to 16GB of DDR3 main memory.
The GLI approved RCM06 USB / Serial gaming reel controller board was promoted throughout the show. The board provides the best in class gaming reel control functions and is designed to work with the Quixant range of gaming controllers or any other PC gaming control board. It is ideal for game development houses that are looking to develop hybrid (reel / video) games that require traditional reels to be used with PC gaming technology.
The Blue Alpha SAS 6.02 module was also promoted during the show, showing its compatibility with various PC gaming platforms. The software module allows games manufacturers around the world to benefit from substantially shortened game development times and significantly reduced development costs.
Following on from the successful Nitro range of slot cabinets, Elite Casino Products launched their new slot cabinet design at the show. The cabinet supports dual 23" LCD monitors, is an ergonomic design with integrated LED lighting and a door mounted sound system. It is able to support all current technology platforms and custom button panels, player tracking systems and colour combinations are available.
