(US, Exclusive Yogonet.com).- Bally Senior VP of Product & Operations Derik Mooberry granted an interview to Yogonet.com about the recent performance of the firm at G2E Las Vegas. “It was exciting that during G2E we received three Gaming & Technology Awards for our innovation,” he said, and also commented about the feedback from visitors, the recently launched Bally Interactive division and the celebrities that visited the booth during the show.

How do you evaluate your participation at G2E?
G2E 2012 proved nothing less than amazing as we combined our expanded game studios and systems engineers with our record-setting innovation to create stunning products across games, systems, and interactive technologies. We believe this to be one of our best G2E’s ever and are honored the feedback we’re receiving reflects that belief.  It was exciting that during G2E we received three Gaming & Technology Awards for our innovation. The Bally iGaming Platform won first place for “Best Consumer-Service Technology” and DM Tournaments also took the top spot for “Best Productivity-Enhancement Technology.” Our new NASCAR progressive slots won third-place for “Best Slot Product.”

How did the visitors respond to NASCAR and Pawn Stars?
The energy and excitement around the NASCAR and Pawn Stars games was palpable. With both brands recognized by millions of fans around the globe, G2E attendees were eager to see how they would be brought to casino floors. The continuous interaction by those who played each machine indicates nothing less than a positive response. Players enjoyed the ability to select the slot theme based on their favorite driver or Pawn Star celebrity, as well as the custom audio and video featured exclusively in these games. The new U-Race play mechanic and ability to negotiate with the Pawn Stars added a new level of exhilaration.

What role did Internet and mobile solutions play this year?
As the first company licensed in the United States as an interactive gaming system manufacturer and service provider, Bally was excited to share the opportunities available to operators through our recently launched Bally Interactive division.  During the show we gave hundreds of demonstrations of our custom mobile apps and mobile websites, as well as our iGaming platform.

Show attendees were able to see firsthand how the iGaming platform offers casino operators the ability to augment their land-based casino gaming with mobile, social, and online play-for-free and wager-based games such as poker, casino table games, video slots, and sports wagering. Also well received was the Bally Mobile platform for concierge casino apps and mobile websites. Operators were able to see how users can do things like view benefits, rewards, sign up instantly for the player’s club, view and book a room, review dining menus, check out nightlife events, view exclusive promotions, get easy directions with GPS mapping, enjoy mobile play-for-fun version of our popular games, read casino gaming information and much more.

How did the public respond to the several celebrity guests that joined you in the Bally exhibit?
Celebrities in the Bally Technologies booth were very well received and immensely popular. Attendees were eager for the opportunity to meet the stars of HISTORY’s smash television series Pawn Stars − Rick Harrison, son Corey Harrison and Corey’s loveable sidekick Chumlee. NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer, who appeared at the Bally booth as part of the launch of the brand-new NASCAR video slot and Virtual Racing NASCAR, welcomed many enthusiastic fans wanting an autograph from one of the top drivers battling in NASCAR’s Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship. And, of course, 2012 Playmate of the Year Jaclyn Swedberg was a fan favorite with guests lining up to take a photo and receive an autograph.

What are you preparing for the next shows?
Bally Technologies looks forward to showcasing the multitude of recently unveiled games at shows around the globe. We have great new titles in our ALPHA 2 Pro Series V22/32, Pro Curve, V32 and V22/22 cabinets. Several games also feature new highly entertaining play mechanics, including U-Race, Super Hot Zones, U-Aim, Memory Pays, U-Play and U-Roll. Bally also has a few surprises planned throughout the year.
