How do you evaluate your participation at G2E?
The show this year was fantastic for Aruze Gaming and we had a significant amount of interest expressed in our products and our presence at the show. Our team was busy throughout the 3-day event and we were quite pleased with the feedback we received from those who saw our products.
How did the visitors respond to the new product category, the Innovator Deluxe, and other products that you have presented?
The Innovator Deluxe products were a huge hit. They brought smiles to many faces and even a few laughs. One customer remarked that it had been a long time since they had so many laughs and smile at slot machine. The games showed very well, and the demand for the product is quite strong. Early placements of the Innovator Deluxe products have also exceeded expectations. We are really enthusiastic about this product line and so were the attendees.
Rich Life and Amazon Fishing also received some amazing reviews from our customers. They enjoyed the VERSUS EVENT of Rich Life and the new Reel Feel Gaming Technology on Amazon Fishing. It was hard to get a seat to demonstrate the product during the show. One could say that’s a nice problem to have…
Finally, the visitors seemed most impressed with the depth of our product offering for a company our size. The new Innovator Steppers and G-SERIES videos really drew attention to customers looking to increase the share of Aruze Gaming on their floor. The “dancing reels” of Catch the Money, the humor of D’Artagnan and the Musketeers, and the global appeal of Knight of La Mancha were some of the standout themes.
How did the visitors respond?
The response this year was better than ever. We had some customers returning two and three times to the stand just to keep playing the games. This was a fantastic result for us, and the visitors’ interest in our product is a real boost to our efforts.
What can you tell us about the appointment of Kelcey Allison as Vice President, Sales for the Americas? What does this represent for the region?
Kelcey is a fantastic leader for our team. He brings a passion, drive and leadership to the Americas to help our sales organization deliver results for this awesome portfolio. He’s been with our organization nearly four years and this appointment is sure to benefit our customers in the region.
What are your main plans for the short term?
Our goal now is to fulfill the demand generated by G2E and continue delivering exceptionally strong performing products. We’ve launched some great performing titles this year, and in the short term we will continue that momentum with the latest releases. It’s a long process to bring products like our to the market, and it is quite satisfying to see our customers, and their players respond so favorable to our games. We are going to keep producing, and keep delivering!
How are you improving your portfolio facing the return of Aruze to ICE?
It has been 4 years since Aruze Gaming has presented at ICE and we have a much more diverse portfolio to share with that show than ever in our history. We look forward to introducing our games and building new relationships at ICE in 2013. Watch this space.
