(Australia).- Aristocrat announced the appointment of two industry-leading game developers, Daniel Marks and Scott Olive, who will be working exclusively for the firm on a third-party basis. These appointments are directly aligned with Aristocrat’s strategic goal of being the world’s leading gaming content provider, said the company.

Marks brings with him a wealth of experience including Managing Member and lead game designer for High 5 Games. During his tenure, High 5 Games became one of the premier independent casino game companies in the world with numerous top-selling titles in the global market. He is a creative force in the industry and has more than 60 patents and patent applications to his name.

Olive is returning to Aristocrat, having started his career with the business. He is acknowledged as one of the most proven creative talents in the industry, and was instrumental in establishing the Hyperlink family of games including Born To Be Wild and Cash Express, and Millioni$er (Aristocrat’s first wide area progressive). Other successful U.S. gaming operations products include Jackpot Deluxe and Bank Buster. He was also the lead designer for high performing titles such as King Of The Nile, Super Bucks 3, Double Dolphins, Big Ben and Red Baron.

Aristocrat CEO Jamie Odell said the appointments of Daniel and Scott are further evidence that the business continues to attract high calibre people. “Both Dan and Scott have a long history of developing successful gaming products and their addition to the team on an exclusive basis will no doubt strengthen and support our already strong talent pool in both the US and Australian markets, ensuring we are producing the best content for the right markets. “

“It is an exciting time for Aristocrat as we continue to build on our momentum and accelerate our plans to deliver the world’s greatest gaming content,” Odell concluded.
