Yesterday, a few minutes after 9:30 in the morning, Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. and the main executives of AGA, AGEM, NIGA, Reed Exhibition, IGT, WMS, Aristocrat, SHFL Entertainment and Bally welcomed the public, a few minuntes from the official inauguration of the event. Among the celebrities that accompanied the inauguration of the show, there were rock stars Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, main Kiss figuras, who turned the opening into a real show, together with the hosts of the successful TV reality show Pawn Stars, Rick and Corey Harrison, and the famous driver of the NASCAR category, Clint Vowyer.
IGT occupied the center of the hall, with the biggest stand of the event, under this year’s slogan: “IGT creates the products that create fans,” offering performance and worldwide reach, which define its portfolio of solutions. It presents from MegaJackpots, Core, Video Poker and casino management systems, up to online, mobile and social games, through DoubleDown Casino in Facebook and cell phone. Among the most attractive titles there were those belonging to franchises Sex and the City, Family Guy, CSI and the trilogy Star Wars.
In the case of WMS, Kiss presence was a very important attraction, together with the machines dedicated to Spider Man, Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz and the series Cheers. Besides, there was an area dedicated to the latest evolution of the company in the development of proposals oriented to the new gaming platforms (online, social and mobile).
A few metres from there, Bally focused in the launch of Virtual Racing NASCAR, a progressive available in the Alpha 2 Pro Series V22/32 cabinet. Besides, the slot of one of the most popular shows at an international level was Pawn Stars, which made its debut yesterday at G2E, together with the interactive area of the firm, where it showcased its full suite of solutions, including Bally Mobile platform.
