Today, the main manufacturers of gaming products, as well as 120 new exhibitors, will start showcasing the latest games, products and services at G2E 2012. The event also provides gaming professionals with access to cutting-edge products and technologies, valuable networking opportunities and unmatched educational programming.
AGA and Reed Exhibitions announced that G2E 2012 has experienced exhibit hall sales not seen since 2009. More than 413 companies have registered for more than 24,061 sqm of exhibit hall space-an increase of more than 4 % compared with the 2011 event. These 2012 sales figures include more than 65 international exhibitors with more than 3,901 sqm of exhibit space.
"We are excited to welcome all of the new exhibitors to G2E 2012," said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., President and CEO of the American Gaming Association. "The G2E show floor is poised to be the event's largest since 2008 and once again will allow attendees to experience the latest technologies, products and services that will shape the gaming industry for years to come," he added.
While almost all product categories are seeing an increase in exhibit space at G2E 2012, those with the largest increases for this year's event include: air quality, amenities, bingo, bill and coin validators, card dispensers, class II, electronic games and equipment, employee recognition, facilities/maintenance, gaming machine components, hospitality, hospitality technology, interactive gaming, interior design and decor, mobile gaming, online/Internet gaming, player and slot tracking systems and staffing/personnel.
G2E 2012 keynotes
G2E 2012 features a series of keynote events providing attendees with unique educational experiences and access to experts on the gaming industry, offering next-generation educational platform to analyze the player of tomorrow and the casino of the future. The program also examines one of the hottest topics in the gaming industry, Internet gambling.
In response to growing interest in Internet gambling, G2E offers live streaming of the iGaming Congress and iGaming Conference Track, allowing those who cannot attend the conference in person to connect to G2E like never before from their web-enabled mobile device or computer.
Besides, AGA’s Global Gaming Women (GGW) initiative hosts several marquee events at Global Gaming Expo 2012. GGW was created by the AGA to support the development and success of women in the international gaming industry through education, mentorship and networking opportunities.
G2E 2012 is taking place October 1 - 4, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is attended by nearly 26,000 industry professionals from around the world.
