“Many of the long-term playing card contracts Gemaco secured in late 2011 and early 2012 have been an important factor. The result has been a strong tail wind that has carried across to Gemaco’s other key products of table layouts and gaming chips. And Gemaco’s introduction of the highly durable Pro-Flex brand in 2011 caused a significant spike in 100% plastic poker cards sales as well,” Fitzhugh added.
When asked about Gemaco’s goals for G2E this year, Fitzhugh was enthusiastic. “The goal is three-fold: make contact with our many new and existing clients to thank them for their business and support throughout the last year; continue to promote the Gemaco brand to the many potential new clients out there, and build on the significant momentum Gemaco has developed around the world with its playing cards, table layouts and gaming chips”.
“Making contact with our customers socially is especially fun—we’re pleased to be a part of the AGEM customer appreciation event again this year at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and the AGEM event provides a great opportunity to do just that,” he concluded.
