Real time information includes tracking and patron details, increasing reporting accuracy, promptness and potentially assisting in the avoidance of costly fines.
The real-time access is a tremendous benefit to casinos, as they can immediately know when they have reached a Currency Transaction Report (CTR) level as required by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). The system alerts staff to gather appropriate information directly on the casino floor at the time of the transaction, eliminating after-the-fact CTR filing. The interface also has the ability to notify the user if a CTR is missing information in real time, as it is being processed in NEWave’s Title 31 Manager.
NEWave COO Tom Bechtel said, “At NEWave, we are constantly seeking and creating ways to help casinos do business faster and more efficiently. This new interface is a tremendous step forward in that mission, giving casinos an additional layer of assurance in meeting Title 31 transaction reporting requirements in real-time.”
Global Payments Gaming Services President Dean DeCristoforo, said, “We are delighted to be working with NEWave on this new interface. Now our mutual clients can benefit from an added layer of data reporting along with increased efficiencies and speed to help protect their bottom line.”
The quick and easy upgrade is available at no additional cost to all U.S. casino properties currently using both NEWave’s Title 31 Manager software and Global Payments Gaming Services’ cash access products.
