Since its start with one lab in Toms River, New Jersey, the company has grown to 20 laboratory locations on six continents with more than 750 employees. At its core, GLI offers independent third-party evaluation and certification of casino gaming technology, devices and systems in addition to providing network and information security assessments. Today, GLI is the only global organization of its kind to hold U.S. and international accreditations for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, 17020 and Guide 65 standards for technical competence in the casino gaming industry.
GLI has continued to grow all around the world, recently opening a new lab in Barcelona, Spain, dramatically expanding its Las Vegas lab, and adding 100 employees globally.
The growing presence of iGaming globally and a recent, substantial change at the Nevada Gaming Control Board were the forces behind the expansion, and GLI moved swiftly to stay ahead of ever-increasing demand for it services in each of its labs.
GLI is different from all other test labs for many reasons, not the least of which is its exclusive tool box, filled with award-winning tools for regulators, suppliers and operators that help each group do business more efficiently, most cost-effectively, with more global reach and impact.
Now at G2E 2012, GLI will be in booth number 4224 discussing its award-winning GLI Mobile, its newest addition to its extensive line of exclusive tools for regulators and suppliers. GLI Mobile is a new downloadable app that allows clients to take the lab with them anywhere, right on their mobile phone or tablet. GLI Mobile is the fast and easy way for regulators and suppliers to log into GLI’s global database, GLIAccess, all at the speed of download, and all in the palm of a hand. GLI Mobile gives users 24/7 access to the lab in a highly secure and password-protected environment. It also sends important notifications by email and gives the user real-time tracking and project management.
Other GLI exclusive tools include GLI Verify, a hand-held tool for regulators, used to verify devices and systems on the casino floor; Ask GLI, a direct Q&A link to the lab; GLI Link, which enables remote testing of devices and systems; and Point.Click.TransferSM. that allows suppliers to quickly and easily transfer previously certified products into jurisdictions around the world.
GLI will also be discussing its world-famous Regulators Roundtable, part of its exclusive and world-famous GLI University training program. The next event in the Roundtable series is the Latin American/Caribbean Roundtable, which takes place November 12, 2012, in Buenos Aires. The North American Roundtable takes place in February 2013 in Las Vegas, and the European Roundtable will be staged in May 2013.
