Cincinnati casino to give construction update

(US).- Leaders of Ohio's fourth voter-approved casino in downtown Cincinnati are ready to give a construction update on the us$ 400 million facility. The casino, which is set to open in the spring, already has begun the hiring process and has accepted thousands of applications from people who want to become dealers.
The casino will include three restaurants, 2,000 slot machines, 85 table games and a World Series of Poker room.
Officials with Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati on Thursday were scheduled to give reporters a hard-hat tour of the sprawling facility.
The casino will be the last of four voter-approved casinos to open in Ohio. Casinos in Cleveland and Toledo opened first, and a casino in Columbus is set to open next month.
