Which are your expectations for future edition of G2E?
G2E is a great meeting point and this year we believe that the affluence of public will be superior to the previous edition. Besides, we will present a very ambitious catalogue, so we are looking forward to the beginning of the show.
How do United States Playing Card Co. and Fournier coordinate their strenghts and how will this be reflected in the show?
Four years ago, we started a process of commercial integration with the aim to seek for synergies in our offer. Nowadays, Fournier offers in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Middle East all the brands and products of the group, no matter if they are manufactured in Spain or US. Besides, United States Playing Card Co. does the same in North America and the Asia Pacific region. Each of the brands we offer, may be Fournier, Bee or KEM, have its own personality and covers different needs. This is why this commercial integration has enabled us to have the most suitable product for each casino, no matter the location.
Last year, the firm presented Las Vegas the Security Baccarat Shoe. What has been the market response?
Security Baccarat Shoe was officially launched in Macau in 2008 and we have been offering it progressively in the rest of the world. In G2E 2012 we will present the new generation of shoe, known as Bee-tek Electronic Shoe. We may say that this new generation brings novelties that will help improve the Baccarat experience in casinos. Two are the prestaciones adicionales that customers to which we have presented the products have liked the most.
On one hand, the so-called B-codes which optimize the reading of each card and allows to detect cards that do not belong to the casino. On the other hand, we have developed the so-called PR-X Brake technology, avoiding the feared "overdraw" which generates so many conflicts at the casinos.
Fournier signed important agreements with WSOP and Genting. How have these agreements evolved recently?
We are proud due to the agreements with WSOP and Genting because these are the acknowledgement to a well-done work experience. Both tournaments are a reference in the poker world and we the fact that our cards are used in all WSOP and Genting tournaments has brought us new opportunities. In 2013 we will continue working with them.
What has been the performance of the company this year? Which is the balance so far?
This year it is presenting two sides. On one hand, in Exports we expect this year to be a record in sales thanks to the growth we are experimenting, specially in Latin America. On the the other hand, the Spanish domestic market, due to the crisis, is suffering a decrease in sales, so joy is not complete.
Which are the main goals of Fournier for the upcoming months?
In Exports, we want to keep the growth line we have this year. Our strategy is to keep of offering a good product that fits to the concrete need of each customer, together with a top-level service. In order to achieve the excellence in the service, it is necessary a motivated and united commercial team, with experience in the company and in the market. In Fournier we have had the luck of finding it and to be able to transmit the values of the company, honest and professional…And customers value it.
