Barcelona businessmen believe Eurovegas would bring tourism for 30 years
The capacity to attract more international tourism, together with visitors to conventions and congresses, is one of the main advantages observed in the leisure macro-complex that Las Vegas Sands analyzes to build in Spain.
In an interview granted to Catalunya Ràdio last Friday, the President of Barcelona businessmen has reminded the current unemployment rate is “absolutely intolerable” to justify his support to the project.
With regard to the presumedly announcement of the final location of Eurovegas in Madrid or in Barcelona, expected for mid September, Miquel Valls has highlighted factors such as the sea, the port, the airport and the success of Ciudad Condal among international tourists as main features in the “nomination” of the Catalonian capital city, compared to the Madrid venue.
The businessman have trusted that these “are factors to be considered by Las Vegas Sands”.
