Melco Crown gets green certification
(Macau).- Melco Crown Entertainment has become the first and the only Macau casino-hotel operator to achieve the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification for its environmental management system, the company announced.

(Macau).- Melco Crown Entertainment has become the first and the only Macau casino-hotel operator to achieve the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification for its environmental management system, the company announced.
The ISO 14001 certificate is an international benchmark that provides assurance to company management and employees, as well as external stakeholders, that the environmental impact of operations is being measured and improved.
“These recognitions testify to the collective effort of our management and staff to set an excellent example in the industry to champion a green hotel culture,” Lawrence Ho Yau Lung, co-chairman and chief executive of Melco Crown was quoted as saying in a press release.
