Lavin will join GLI’s Professional Services office in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, and will serve global clients.

Lavin comes to GLI with extensive experience in both private and public sectors managing information systems. Most recently, he served as Senior Security Architect for the Office of Chief Information Officer Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, where he designed and implemented processes that ensured continual forward movement of the government information technology revitalization strategy.
Lavin also has extensive experience in security, management and coordination of daily IT operations. He brings further applicable skills in the area of Security Audits which include; vulnerability assessment, ethical hacking, and threat risk assessment. He holds a diploma in Systems Analysis/Computer Programmer from Atlantic Computer Institute Halifax, Nova Scotia as well as a Personnel Management Program Certificate from St. Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
