GTECH signs contract extension with the South Dakota Lottery

(Italy) –Lottomatica Group announced that its subsidiary, GTECH Corporation, has signed a five-year contract extension to continue providing lottery products and services for the South Dakota Lottery. The extension will extend the contract term through August 2, 2019.
"Since GTECH became the online lottery vendor in South Dakota in 2009, online sales have grown approximately 35 %t," said GTECH President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel. "We can attribute much of that growth to the great partnership we have established with the South Dakota Lottery – a partnership that fosters open communication, collaboration, and creativity, with a shared goal in mind and that is to keep the South Dakota Lottery moving forward and growing to even greater heights."
"This contract extension represents our confidence in the technology and services GTECH provides the South Dakota Lottery, and the partnership that ensures the quality of those services," said South Dakota Lottery Executive Director Norman Lingle.
