Official CIC Batumi speaker line-up revealed

(Georgia).- The programme of speakers taking part in September’s Casino Investors Congress Batumi has been officially confirmed, and represents an array of Georgia’s most influential political and social policy makers. The event to take place next September 4-6 at Shearon Batumi Hotel.

Joining headline speaker Levan Varshalomidze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara – who will make the keynote speech at the Congress in the Sheraton Batumi Hotel – will be Dimitri Gvindadze, the Georgian Minister of Finance; Vera Kobalia the Georgian Minister of the Economy; Keti Bochorishvili, head of the National Investment Agency; Kakha Baindurashvili, Director of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and former national Minister of Finance; and David Kikava, head of the Ajaran Department of Tourism and Resorts.

The distinguished line-up will provide guests with a unique insight into a wide range of topics, including the government’s overall short- and long-term vision for Batumi, Ajara and Georgia, the current and future framework of gambling legislation and regulation, the development of tourism in Batumi, as well as practical information on how to go about doing business in Georgia.

Their presentations will be interspersed by case studies from several international hospitality and gaming companies already working in or with Ajara. Delegates will also have the opportunity for one-to-one contact with all the speakers during networking events throughout the Congress. In addition, speakers and other officials are making themselves available for more private discussions with delegates, arranged before or during the Congress.
