Codere achieves 100 betting venues in Madrid Council

(Spain).- Codere Group achieved 100 betting points in Madrid Council, a 53% more compared to 2011, thanks to diverse agreements with companies with a great experience and expertise in the sector, among them, Grupo Crespo, Joypazar and Carrasco.

Besides, thanks to those joint ventures with sportsbooks, the brand Codere Apuestas will be boosted in different betting venues. For operators, this new brand is warranty of quality and reliability, not just due to Codere know-how in Spain and other countries, but also because the company was pioneer in this business, making the first sportsbook in April 2008, and nowadays, it is the only company of the sector which is present in all the Autonomous Communities that have developed such regulation.

Jaime Estalella, Director of Operations for Europe of Codere Group, said: “Those agreements will enable Codere to boost the sportsbook market in Madrid Council, with top-level partners.”

New terminal that improves the user experience
In the new venues, the new sportsbooks terminal will be installed, which incorporates an attractive 22”, TFT double screen design that allows enjoying sportsbooks live, such as horse and greyhound races of the main horse race tracks and greyhound track stands, improving the gaming experience considerably.

Besides, the new terminal has a complete offer that includes 390 leagues and all the football matches available, a wide offer of live events: in play: up to 100 betting opportunities a day and a great variety of sports such as tennis, béisbol, hockey, etc.

Moisés Crespo, from Grupo Crespo, commented: “This long-term collaboration will let us strenghten our organization and offer a better customer service, with a quality product, completing our current gaming and entertainment offer”.

A new image of quality
The new image of Codere Apuestas, which improves the acknowledgement and visibility at the venues, let users have a great gaming experience, supported by a strong marketing plan to release the brand and show the consumer that it is the best betting option possible, an aspect with a direct impact in the operator.

Codere policy towards its customers facilitates a great flexibility in the operational development, and offers a shared visibility between the betting brand, which supports Codere know-how in the business and the brand of the operator, which brings the local knowledge.

In this sense, Joaquín Martín, from Grupo Joypazar, pointed: “We feel very comfortable with the agreement achieved, because we will not lose our own personality and, at the same time, we improve our offer with Codere Apuestas”.

The new venues from Codere Apuestas will create differentiated and attractive spaces that will offer more visibility, generating additional incomes both for the betting center and the betting brand, creating a uniform image in all the centers. That’s why the betting space will be delimited, bringing visibility from the exterior, boosting the brand image and offering the consumer a recognizable and reliable brand.

Leading the Madrid sportsbook market
Thanks to these agreements, Codere boosts its sportsbooks sector, which nowadays grows at a level of more than 40%, well beyond the average of the sector, and it does it together with experienced partners for the Madrid market.

For the following months, Codere plans an ambitious expansion plan that has, among other objectives, the aim to keep on increasing its number of betting terminals and betting centers in the regions in which it is present, and keep developing an inclusive branding policy with the partners.

The company, which has just arrived in Valencia through 700 betting centers and 70 gambling venues, will develop its business in Madrid, thanks to those new deals and will boost its own venues and those belonging to third parties in Navarra, Vasque Country, Aragón.

Besides, Codere Apuestas has the aim to expand in other regions such as Murcia and Galicia, where it will be present through its business in venues, bingo halls and casinos. As part of its expansion plan it also expects to have an important presence in Catalonia and Andalucia.
