Tropicana's CEO is new head of New Jersey casino group

(US).- The CEO of the Tropicana Casino and Resort will take over as the new president of the Casino Association of New Jersey, the trade association for Atlantic City's casinos.

(US).- The CEO of the Tropicana Casino and Resort will take over as the new president of the Casino Association of New Jersey, the trade association for Atlantic City's casinos.

Tony Rodio succeeds Bob Griffin, CEO of Trump Entertainment Resorts, whose term ends this weekend. The group represents the casinos in their dealings with state government, among other functions.

Rodio has more than 30 years' experience in the casino industry. In Atlantic City, he previously ran Resorts and what was then its sister property the Atlantic City Hilton, now known as The Atlantic Club.
