Denmark blocks the activity of 12 online gambling venues

(Denmark).- Danish Court of Frederiksberg ordered the blocking of 12 gambling venues which were operating without the appropriate license. Denmark is one of the European countries that decided to regulate gaming recently. According to experts, it is the smartest model, which better fits the players’ needs.

The Danish Gaming Authority (DGA), the authority in online gaming in Denmark issued a press release in which they explain the reasons to block the activity in certain gambling venues: “We work to identify the games of chance operators that offer games in the Danish regulated market without the appropriate license.”

“A great number of those websites with license, have modified their games of chance offer with the aim of not having discrepancies with the Danish gambling law. However, other websites continue offering games without a Danish license.”

The blocking of the venues will be held within the following 15 days through the ISP and will affect the following websites:
