New installations for PokerTek

Harrah's Cherokee provides the only live poker within 350 miles of Cherokee, NC, a radius that encompasses Charlotte, North Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia, Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tennesse. The room offers a range of cash games, including us$ 1/2 No-Limit, us$ 2/5 No-Limit and us$ 3/6 Limit Cash games, and a variety of tournaments.

PokerPro tables are cutting-edge electronic gaming devices that play live poker and allow players to play against one another. Players can privately view their hole cards and place bets using their individual screens. The community cards, pot and player table stakes are displayed on a large center monitor for all players to see.

The expansion of Harrah's Cherokee is currently the largest hospitality expansion project underway in the Southeast and one of the largest in the United States, offering the greatest number of hotel accommodations in the Carolinas. Upon completion in 2012, the 56-acre property will have added a third hotel tower incorporating luxury accommodations and high-end suites, a 3,000-seat events center, entertainment and VIP lounges, 1,672 sqm spa, all new state-of-the-art digital poker room, Asian gaming room, a variety of new restaurant and retail outlets, and new hotel and casino parking garages. Harrah's Cherokee is also renovating its current casino facilities and doubling the size of its casino floor to 13,935 sqm while increasing video and table game capacity.
