Dominican Casino Association has a new President

During the event, it was held the election of the members of the Board of Directors, which will represent the sector of prívate casinos. Besides, Francisco García, top manager of Cirsa for the Dominican Republic, was appointed as President of the entity.
 
García commented about his plans, which will be carried our with the aim to  dynamize and foster the participation and activation of members of the association. As part of its future plans there is the relaunch of the entity, strenghtening the image of the sector in society, and the dynamic approach to government entities that regulate the activity with the aim to keep business sustainability.

He also expressed his will to strenghten the balance, development and growth of the gaming and entertainment sector in Dominican Republic. When being consulted about his immediate goals, he answered: “I do not set goals, but duties. Goals are usually in line with a concrete period of time, while duties are permanent. I set the duty of strenghtening the association with the recruitment and maintenance of the greatest number of members; the duty of improving the image of our businesses within the society, reflecting all the time the transparency, compliance and seriousness in all our actions; and finally, I set out the duty of maintaining continuously the relationship with all the regulatory entities of the sector with the aim to have presence in the ellaboration of all the legal regulation that can affect us.”

The entity had the chance to acknowledged Edmond Elías, who was President of the Association for more than 25 years. His important contribution in favor of the industry make him worthy to the highest honours among his members and authorities. Elías thanked and congratulated the new board of directors.
