The QX-40 features support for the latest DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.2 and OpenCL 1.1 standards. The exceptional graphics performance and features provided by the QX-40 eliminates the traditional need for a separate graphics card, reducing overall size, power and system costs as well as providing stable, long-term supply.
Managing Director of Quixant, Nick Jarmany, commented: “The new QX-40 delivers graphics performance never before seen in an integrated gaming platform. The ability to drive up to ten screens is revolutionary and opens up interesting new possibilities to slot manufacturers. All this is achieved with low power consumption, excellent reliability and long-term supply, all key requirements in gaming.”
Director of Embedded Client Business at AMD, Richard Jaenicke, said: “The QX-40 is an exciting new system that has the features commonly requested by casino gaming companies worldwide. In particular, the coupling of the AMD R-Series APU together with a discrete AMD embedded GPU on a single board makes the QX-40 an excellent choice for a premium gaming solution.”
The QX-40 is also able to operate from a single 12V power supply, eliminating the extra expense and reliability issues of an ATX PSU.
The QX-40 samples are available on a 5+2 year basis. Further information about the QX-40 will be available on Quixant’s website www.quixant.com, AMD online catalogue and from the sales team at [email protected]
