“What we found is that the Sands China properties collectively accounted for 65 percent of walk-in visitation versus having an approximate 55 percent share of mass-market table supply on Cotai,” they said.
Using the methodology of counting casino shuttle bus passengers to estimate the overall mass-market share of each gaming operator in Macau, Union Gaming analysts concluded that from April to so far this month, Sands China has led with a weighted share of customers of 34.6 percent.
It was followed by SJM Holdings, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Wynn Macau, Melco Crown Entertainment and MGM China. Compared to Union Gaming’s February and March survey, Sands China picked up the most share (+220 basis points), followed by Melco Crown (+40 basis points).
