(Macau).- Japanese brokerage Nomura says gross gaming revenue at Macau’s casinos this month may stay below its initial estimate.

Nomura analyst Harry Curtis wrote in an investors note that Macau gaming revenue for the first 13 days of May suggests the month will rake in us$ 3.5 billion, below Nomura’s estimate of us$ 3.55 billion.

Even so, it is likely May will set a new monthly record, surpassing the all-time high level of us$ 3.29 billion recorded last October.
