Jannero became Marketing Director for Svenska Spel in July of 2010 following the sacking of Tomas Agrell having joined the operator only a year earlier from Absolut Vodka where he held several leadership positions including Global Brand Director. “This is a new position that will support our strategy and a role that will drive operations,” said Jannero.
“The main focus will be to make sure that the overall business strategies are relevant, clear and that they are kept together to work towards over-arching goals. It is a very exciting and challenging role.”
Svenska Spel revealed that the new post has seen Jannero become part of its senior management team reporting directly to its CEO, Lennart Kall. “The speed of development in the gaming market is incredibly fast right now with rapid technical developments, changing consumer behaviours and an increased focus on competition,” said Kall.
“My aim with this position is to strengthen the strategic outlook and create enough power to drive and develop the business strategies. Peter is a key figure in Svenska Spel’s pursuit to become a modern consumer and brand-orientated company.”
