GTI Asia Taipei Expo 2012 to start this week

(Taiwan).- The 19th edition of GTI Asia Taipei Expo (GTI EXPO) will dynamically kick off on May 10-12 at B & C Zones of Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC). Around 70 commercial game machine developers and related equipment suppliers will showcase a complete spectrum of amusement, edutainment and gaming machines and related accessories throughout the 3-day trade event.

Including Taiwan-based IGS, Saint-Fun, Injoy Motion, Feiloli and Paokai, Japan-based SEGA and Namco Bandai Games and many other companies from Hong Kong, Australia, US and China, around 70 gaming developers and related equipment suppliers will exhibit a complete spectrum of amusement, edutainment, and gaming machines as well as related accessories. 

Namco Bandai Games will amaze the players in Taiwan with the latest version of the “Gundam Senjou No Kizuna,” featuring realistic cockpit, eye-dazzling game scenes, and exciting fights.  The Zombie-themed TV series the Walking Dead has recently taken the Taiwan audiences by storm.  NBGI’s 4D game “Dark Escape,” featuring the horrifying zombie attacks will maintain such zombie fever.  Each player is promised to undergo an extremely frightening experience. Moreover, NBGI’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TT2) and a car-racing game “Deadheat” will also be not-to-be-missed classic games on display. 

Konami’s “Dance Evolution” and “Sound Voltex” are the two games that hit the Japanese market right after being launched.  At 2012’s GTI EXPO, Taiwanese players will be able to experience the fun of playing these two new games at the booth of SUME, Konami’s distributor in Taiwan.

Taiwan-based IGS will widely demonstrate its R&D capabilities by showcasing its self-developed music games “MuziBox” and “Percussion Master 3,” card game “Hero of Robots,” car-racing game “Speed Driver 4” and cross-platform app games “Salon Boss” and “SR Mobile.”  Visitors also can watch show girls’ attractive dancing performances at IGS’s booth.  Organized by Sun-Fun, China Cup Street Basketball International Tournament, the most representative basketball machine contest in Taiwan, is going enter its 7th edition this year. 

Due to the great fervor of Linsanity, the number of registered contestants reaches new high.  The 7th China Cup Street Basketball Taiwan Final will take place on May 12 at the GTI EXPO.  The winners get to represent Taiwan to go to China to compete with opponents from the Great China region in the China Cup Final.  The winners get to represent Taiwan to go to China to compete with opponents from the Great China region in the China Cup Final. 

The Spring Final for The Loop Racer – Asia Grand Prix will also be held on the same day at Saint-Fun’s booth.  To attract more players to play this car-racing game and join the tournament, this time Saint-Fun specially prepare many cash prizes and the winner in the final will be awarded a BMW 118i car.
