(Colombia, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Aquiles Mila de la Roca, Crane Payment Solutions’ Director of Sales Latin America, Casino Gaming, evaluated the participation of the firm in recent FADJA show. He also talked about the next challenges for the Colombian market and the upcoming plans for Latin America. “Colombian market is probably the one with most potential for growth in Latin America for our note products,” he pointed.

How do you evaluate your participation in FADJA 2012?
FADJA has always been a key event in the gaming calendar and this year’s show was again very positive for Crane Payment Solutions. It provided us with an opportunity to meet our customers and showcase many of our products including the Money Controls Ardac Elite and the CashCode SM BackLoad bill validators. 

On top of local operators, were companies from other countries interested in your products? Where did they come from mostly?
Besides local operators, we received some customers from various countries like Peru, Panama, Venezuela, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Chile.

What products have generated more interest?
Besides the Ardac Elite and BackLoad SM validators, we displayed our complete range for the Latin American gaming market, which includes the Money Controls Cyclone and Universal Hoppers, the Condor Premier coin acceptor and the CashCode oneCheck cash management solution. Interest in all products was high and it was good to be able to show so many customers our full range of products and technologies.
 
In your opinion, what are the next challenges of the Colombian market?
Although the output and results of the new legal approach that the Colombian Government is taking to the local Gaming industry is still to be seen, it is expected that it will contribute to the formalization and regularization of the sector, which is one of the reasons why we see a significant potential in this country.

What are Crane's upcoming plans for Latin America?
Our goal in Latin America is to continue with our successful approach of offering the highest level of products and support to our customers and therefore increase our already important market share in the region.

The Colombian gaming market is probably the one with most potential for growth in Latin America for our note products. After successfully navigating a period of changes and adjustments, it is now feasible to expect a significant increase in the demand for our top of the line bill validators in the next few years.

In this regard we are well positioned, with several successful years of experience in Colombia and our Ardac Elite’s performance and support highly recognized by the operators throughout the country.
