How do you evaluate your participation in FADJA 2012?
For TransAct Technologies, FADJA has been a great platform to exhibit our Casino preferred Epic products for the Andean and Latin American region. FADJA is an attractive show not only for the local market, but for all the region being the first scheduled show of the year. TransAct Technologies has had a great year showing how our quality printer products have been chosen by more and more customers (operators and OEM’s) around the world and FADJA has allowed us to show this in the Latin American market.
What was the feedback for your Epic printers and all your catalogue?
We received valuable feedback from the attendees of FADJA. We received a lot of attention as our Epic 950 ticket printer has been chosen as preferred by 5 out of the 6 new casinos to open in the United States in the first half of this year. In addition, our EPICENTRAL Print System which was recently named as a “Top 10 Slot Product for 2012” has proven installations and another casino ready to install. This gives the market a clear demonstration of the quality and commitment that we at TransAct Technologies have towards our customers and our markets.
How is TransAct positioned in Colombia?
Our positioning in the Colombian market has been developing day by day. We depend upon the regulations of the market and we are optimistic that the changes that are needed will begin soon. Our local distributor (Hanco Technologies) has performed a wonderful job providing local support in addition to a strong sales force. We are committed to continuing to grow in this region as we do all around the globe.
How will influence Coljuegos in the Colombian gaming market?
The role of Coljuegos will be vital for the local market. It will be the key for the industry development allowing more and more foreign investment and encouraging local companies to grow and improve their business. Guaranteeing transparency and legibility for the industry, Coljuegos will be able to give a good “push” towards a better conception of the gaming industry.
What are TransAct's upcoming plans for Latin America?
