How do you evaluate your participation in FADJA 2012?
FADJA has always been an important platform to release new trends in gaming innovations in the Andean area. This year specially, the event had a more competitive frame, because the big brands brought their novelties to Latin America and manufacturers of spare parts could not be left behind. We have received many visitors, not only from Colombia but also from a great variety of countries interested in our products and in the novelties we introduced. We could have a direct interaction with our customers and providers, showing first hand these innovations and improvements in spare parts for casinos.
What products have you presented?
We started with the direct sale of the new bill aceptor model iVizion from JCM. This device is a great bill acceptor that will revolutionize the market due to its quality and high technology. We also presented our line of industrial monitors HT Vision, digital systems of 3M Microtouch, components and generic accessories from ALEA, and we launched two new providers with a big name within the industry: Advantech-Innocore, which develops main boards for gaming; and Fujitsu, worldwide leader in the industry of bill dispensing units.
What balance can you make of the work done together with JCM Global, Advantech-Innocore and all the companies represented?
In order to achieve to stand out among the wide market diversity in the sale of spare parts at a local and international level; we work with the companies we represent, which also bring us the assistance and support we demand. It means more efficiency and speed in the development of solutions for the industry. The balance has always been satisfactory, because the reciprocity and the joint work have led us to generate and implement important improvements for the casino industry.
How do you see the current situation of the Colombian market with the creation of Coljuegos?
It is now very premature to speak about Coljuegos, even more when there are a lot of concerns among the operators of the sector. Coljuegos is an entity that has very little time and we must wait until its formative stage finiches, and see which points will they remark when they start their work.
How is the company positioned in Colombia?
We are in a stage of connecting with each customer: for two years, we have been putting emphasis in making our company known and we have had a wide answer in most of the country. Manufacturers, operators and people from the casino industry know us and have Hanco as a supporting provider and developer of integral solutions.
Which are your plans for Colombia and Latin America in general?
In Colombia, we continue working at the same rythmn we have had in the last years, making our company known and offering new products and solutions. We are expectant with the online interconnection issue, because it is another opportunity to strengthen the market. For Latin America there are more short-term and long-term projects. We have just opened an office in Lima, Peru, and continue expanding in the whole continent. We know 2012 will be a very good year for Hanco in all Latin America.
