How do you evaluate the participation of SPIELO International at FADJA 2012?
The participation of SPIELO International always stirs interest. In 2011 we consolidated our OXYGEN cabinet in the regional market, and specifically in Colombia, and our solid performance has positioned our product as the most popular one, and the most required by the operators in this jurisdiction. OXYGEN covers operators’ current needs, with the best quality/price, which has satisfied the preferences of the whole region.
What was the feedback from operators with regards to the diversity and KITTY CASH titles in the OXYGEN cabinet, as well as in the rest of the products presented?
The feedback was extremely positive. Operators are very enthusiastic about our diversity multi-game. The feedback from the diversity suites showcased at the event, added to the orders set up, confirm OXYGEN’s leadership. Regarding KITTY CASH, operators immediately associated it with the successful DOGGIE CASH title on the e-motion cabinet, and we expect the same successful performance of KITTY CASH. The first KITTY CASH progressive in Latin America has been installed in Casino de Coquimbo, which belongs to the Enjoy group, and the next installation will be in Uruguay, while the subsequent deployments will be in Colombia.
With regards to our diversity multi-game, it is the product in our current portfolio that’s in the highest demand. However, we are working on the introduction, in parallel, of our new prodigy Vu cabinet with a wide range of standalone games, including modern mathematics and an attractive introduction price, which will cause a stir in the coming months.
How do you see the current situation of the Colombian market with the creation of Coljuegos?
The news of the creation of Coljuegos was received with a lot of enthusiasm by the industry. For many years Colombia was poised to be a regulated market. We appreciate that Coljuegos will take the initiative, consider opinions from specialists, determine the desired pertinent legal framework and guarantee the development of the industry and the security of the capital invested in it, all with the goal of operating a gaming program that is fair and that benefits Colombians.
What is your company’s position in Colombia?
Colombia has always been a receptive market, and is ready for our products. Spielo International’s large share in casinos in other jurisdictions in Latin America suggests that we will do well in Colombia. With the introduction of OXYGEN to the portfolio, and our best selling diversity multigame, we’re in a good position to enter this key market, which is a focus for us in 2012.
What are your plans for Colombia and LatinAmerica in general?
SPIELO International’s sales results in the last year and a half have been impressive, confirming the strength and consistency not only of our product in the main Latin American markets, but also the benefits of the integration of our commercial team and our flexible business approach. We are constantly striving to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers, and that’s why we are focusing in organizing our next showroom in Peru on May 17, in order to show customers our best products and games for 2012.
