McDowell has over 30 years of wide ranging gaming industry experience, with an extensive track record of leadership of regional and destination gaming properties across the United States. She joined Isle of Capri in 2007 as president and chief operating officer, and was promoted to chief executive officer in April 2011.
At Isle of Capri, she has designed and implemented a strategic plan that has refined the Company's business model by focusing on cost effective operating enhancements and substantially restyled customer experiences across the portfolio, leading to vastly improved customer satisfaction ratings during her tenure.
Additionally, under her leadership, the company has successfully completed several deleveraging transactions of legacy assets and continues the completion of a development pipeline that includes the firm's current development projects in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Western Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining the company, McDowell served as senior executive at Trump Entertainment Resorts and Argosy Gaming Company. She began her gaming career in Atlantic City, holding a variety of management positions over a period of more than 15 years.
