Cirsa attributed the results to the favourable evolution of the activities in Latin American and Italy, as well as the good behaviour of the investments made and the implementations of plans of efficiency in the Spanish market.
Besides, last January the company issues bonds for 280 million euros, which elabled to refinance the group until 2018. With regards to the casino division, Cirsa inaugurated two venues in Panama and remarks the “good behaviour” of the investments made in Colombia and Argentina.
The B2B division, including the slots offer, achieved in 2011 a market share of 57% in hostelling, while the VLT division countrs with a positive evolution of incomes derived from the installation of a collection of 1,700 slots in Italy.
With regards to bingo halls, the company considers that it is the “most affected” sector in Spain, That’s why it faced “cuts in cost, optimization and efficiency”, as well as the refurbishment of the facilities and smoker clubs.
