Galaxy sees mass-market revenue up nearly 300 %

(Macau).- Galaxy Entertainment Group has seen its March mass market revenue soar, according to Business Daily. Figures show Galaxy enjoyed a near 300 % rise in mass-market revenue year-on-year in March, and a near 100 percent improvement in VIP revenue.
The figures were influenced by the opening of Galaxy Macau, the company’s Cotai integrated resort in May last year.
In the opposite direction, SJM Holdings recorded a 2.2 percent fall in revenues year-on-year in March, compared to the overall market’s 24 percent growth.
