Macau: Gaming liberalisation a success, says regulator
Neves says he makes a “positive” assessment of the impact the casino liberalisation has had on Macau. “The entry of new players has brought huge amounts of investment, better offerings and non-gaming diversification.”

Neves says he expects the Macau casino industry to post a gross gaming revenue growth of between 20 and 30 percent this year. Local casinos raked in us$ 33.5 billion in 2011.
