“Coljuegos needs to be a key element in gaming regulation”

(Colombia, exclusive Yogonet.com).- JCM Global will present in FADJA its new iVIZION unit, as well as well-known UBA and Vega. The company will be present in the stand of its distributor Hanco. “Hanco has developed a very important task of technical and commercial support in Colombia”, remarked Daniel Alza, Sales Director of JCM Global for Latin America, who also talked about the current situation of the Colombian market and the new regulatory entity.

What business opportunities does FADJA represent for JCM?
FADJA is a reference point for the gaming industry in Colombia. JCM was one of the first firms which supported this event from the beginning and, since then, we have always been present. Colombia and the Andean Region have a huge customer potential in the gaming area, and FADJA is no doubt a unique opportunity, year after year, to have them all present in the same place.

In which way will you articulate work with your distributor Hanco Technologies for the presentation of its products in this event?
Hanco and JCM are working very well together. Both firms will be represented in the booth seeking the same goals, it means, presenting JCM products, supporting our customers in all their needs and looking for new business opportunities. Hanco has developed a very important technical and commercial support in Colombia. Customers are grateful.

What JCM products will be in exhibition?
We will be showcasing our new iVIZION unit, as well as UBA and Vega. iVIZION not only brings the capacity to have more speed adaptation, the best and more advanced technology for bill acceptance, pack of sensors totally sealed to dust and water, much more memory and other functionalities, but also has an amazing simplicity in design, which makes a minimum and easy maintenance.

The best recognition has been the enormous demand of iVIZION by our customers. For example, the 90% of the casinos inaugurated in the last six months, and those to be inaugurated in the next 12 months in US, have demanded to have iVIZION as an exclusive unit in their casinos. In Latin America, the enthusiasm and avidity for the product make us forebode a similar success.

What are your expectations on Coljuegos, the new Colombian regulatory entity? In your view, In which way will this state company have influence on the industry?
For us, the appointment of Coljuegos as the new regulatory entity for games is very positive. We will now have to see how it is articulated and how it advances on the implementation of the regulation.

A market with a clear legislation, where everyone knows what to expect, no doubt benefits the investor, who wishes to improve its operation and be more efficient. The markets that have already made this transition have been rewarded with strong investments, exemplary operations and an improved gaming market for everyone. Coljuegos needs to be a key element on the whole situation.

How important is Colombia within JCM strategy?
Colombia is very important for JCM. It is a country where, although we have grown considerably, still has a very big potential. JCM has been attending the Colombian market for a long time, and nowadays has a base of services and commercial support which is unique in the country. On top of its good products, the support and chequered history, JCM brings its customers a very big tranquility with regards to investments. It is something not many companies can do.
