Novomatic Gaming Spain at FER Interazar with new Managing Director

Before the inauguration of the FER Interazar 2012, Bernhard Teuchmann has been appointed as the company's new managing director.

This step, together with the move into the new headquarters in Madrid's Alcalá de Henares underlines the great potential and importance that Novomatic sees in the Spanish B and C gaming markets. Together with Jordi Pedragosa, sales director for both B and C market segments, Bernhard Teuchmann will further promote the future expansion of Novomatic gaming equipment in Spain.

Teuchmann (who previously lived for eight years in Spain before joining Austrian Gaming Industries (AGI) the wholly owned subsidiary of Novomatic AG in 2008) is hugely excited about his new role and the challenges ahead. He said: “The Spanish B market is, with its 17 differently regulated regions, characterized by a large degree of segmentation; hence each jurisdiction needs to be seen and treated as a market on its own. The whole team at Novomatic Gaming Spain is working hard and is full of enthusiasm to cater each of them with the greatest care in order to supply the right products to the different customers in the respective jurisdictions.”

At the FER Interazar Novomatic Gaming Spain will address especially the B segment of the Spanish gaming market with a broad presentation of customer-tailored products.

The product display will comprise a large number of Novo Line Salon multi-game machines featuring the mixes Novo Line Salon I and - as a preview - the brand new Novo Line Salon II. The already known product Novo Line Salon I comprises nine high performing video slot games: Always Hot, Ultra Hot, Sizzling Hot, Dolphin's Pearl, Book of Ra, Lucky Lady's Charm, Superball, Roulette and American Poker II. The Novo Line Salon II product will be unveiled live at the show with new games and additional product features.

Another novelty for the Spanish B-market will be the Novo Line Club which is the Novo Line Salon offering in a slant top cabinet.

Especially for the street market (bars) Novomatic will present at the show the space-optimized Novo Line Bar machine as well as a collection of Gaminator cabinets featuring the single game Secret of Egypt. Novomatic's UK subsidiary, Astra Games, will show their products Bingo King and Reel King.

Brand new also will be three networked Gaminator III machines that each feature a mix of five fruit games and that are linked to one integrated mystery jackpot. The games are: Sizzling Hot deluxe, Always Hot deluxe, Ultra Hot deluxe, Xtra Hot deluxe and Roaring Forties. The system is to date on test in the autonomous region of Murcia in the B4 category and will also be shown at the booth.

Novomatic Gaming Spain has also become a highly successful supplier of Type C equipment to leading Spanish casino operators. The product display will therefore also give visitors an insight into the great range of Novo Line Novo Unity II electronic multiplayers with a presentation of Novostar SL1 slant top cabinets featuring Novo Flying Roulette and Novo Flying Black-Jack as well as the Novo Line Novo Unity II slot mix number 1. Also aimed at the Spanish casino market is a bank of five Super-V+ Gaminator III machines as well as a Flexi-Link jackpot.
