WMS Gaming announced European commercial launch of Wage-Net solution

(Austria).- With the successful installation of more than 80 games across 12 Casinos Austria casinos, WMS Gaming announced the European commercial launch of its WAGE-NET Networked Gaming (NG) solution. “We are very pleased with the floor performance of our games at Casinos Austria and look forward to working with them to maximize their investment, while providing a unique, innovative experience to engage players,” said Sebastian Salat, WMS International President.

With cloud-based Remote Configuration and Download (RCD) capability, the WMS NG solution delivers unprecedented gaming experiences, while leveraging industry-standard protocols to give operators heightened flexibility on their casino floors. The WMS installation reinforces the WMS commitment to “Engaging Players. Delivering Results.”

The flexibility and ease of use of the WMS system allows us to increase game performance with minimal changes to our existing IT infrastructure. We are now able to configure WMS games in all of our 12 Austrian venues from a remote and central point of administration. The WMS Networked Gaming Solution is in place at Casinos Austria casinos in Bregenz, Kleinwalsertal, Seefeld, Innsbruck, Kitzbühel, Salzburg, Bad Gastein, Velden, Graz, Linz, Baden, and Wien.”

WMS WAGE‐NET solutions, including the company’s Networked Gaming Portal application families and cloud-based RCD, are designed from the ground-up leveraging computer industry and GSA standards‐based architecture to enable cross‐vendor interoperability. These solutions provide customers with the freedom of choice and flexibility to utilize systems and applications best suited to their own needs, and are designed to increase revenue-generating capabilities while providing differentiated player experiences for installed base games. WMS’ first Networked Gaming portal application family, the Ultra Hit Progressive (UHP) series, with Jackpot Explosion and Piggy Bankin’ themes is now installed in more than 25 casinos in international markets.

The 84 WMS gaming machines at Casinos Austria AG properties, which include the Colossal Reels, Reel Boost, Cascading Reels 5x4, G+ 5x4, G+ Deluxe 5x4 and G+ Deluxe series, feature a broad array of unique and dynamic entertainment experiences designed to engage current players and attract new ones enhance loyalty, and drive performance for casino operators.
