Covering 116 venues, the network comprises 792 Indago Interactive Video Terminals (IVTs) powered by Aristocrat’s TruServ server-based gaming solution.
Arve Sjølstad, Norsk Tipping’s Belago Brand Manager said Norsk Tipping are very pleased with the launch of the jackpot system. “We have already seen the early effects of the mystery jackpot on the Belago game experience, with an increase in the number of players and better numbers on the bottom line,” Mr Sjølstad said. “This benefits not only Norsk Tipping and the bingo venues but also many worthy causes as a direct result of our pioneering social responsibility programme.”
Miriam Lindhorst, General Manager of Aristocrat Lotteries Europe, said the bingo operation is supplementary to the larger Multix retail network already established in Norway using the same TruServ system and Indago terminals. “The combined network demonstrates the flexible and scalable nature of TruServ and we are delighted at the immediate impact made by the addition of multi-level jackpots,” she said.
The network offers a national mystery jackpot of us$ 8,839, together with local jackpots on two levels of up to us$ 2,121.
The menu of games available to players on the open system includes some of Aristocrat’s most popular slot titles, Pompeii, Geisha and Double Happiness, as well as African Storm which is due to roll out in March.
