Jan Jones to give keynote address at GLI's Annual Roundtable

Jones will open day two of the two-day Roundtable on March 8, addressing what GLI expects to be a record crowd of more than 365 regulators from across North America. Her address will begin at 9 a.m.

"We are absolutely thrilled that Ms. Jones, one of the Great Women of Gaming, will deliver a keynote address at our annual Roundtable. From her current position directing global governmental relations for one of the world's largest gaming companies to her two terms as Mayor of the City of Las Vegas, she brings an incredibly valuable perspective to our regulators," said GLI President and CEO James Maida.

Jones was the first woman to be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Gaming Communications by the American Gaming Association. She served two terms as Mayor of the City of Las Vegas and was the City's first woman chief executive. She has also served as Chairwoman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, and was former Nevada State National Committeewoman for the Democratic National Committee. She has also served on the board of directors or board of trustees of the Nevada Resorts Association, the National Conference for Community and Justice, and the National Judicial College, among many other organizations.

GLI University's Roundtable takes place March 7-8 at Treasure Island Casino & Resort in Las Vegas. CIOs, CTOs, gaming commission chairs and members, tribal regulators, security directors and slot operations directors are encouraged to attend.
