(Spain).- The Official State Bulletin of Madrid (BOCM)) released last January, 16 the Order which regulates electronic bingo and establishes both the content and the value of the cards used in this game, whose amount should be between 10 and 6 Euros cents.

The regional government explains that the cards must be "approved" by the competent authority. It also stipulates that the game is played "in a synchronized way from inception to completion with cards with the same format, the same amount of numbers or graphs and of the same value."

"If there would be any failures or breakdowns in the technical system or in any of its elements which would prevent the total or partial continuity of the game, players will have to be informed, in particular about the change of the amount in the awards, through the electronic terminals and the information system of each room," adds the regulation.

As for the monitoring and control of the game, the technical system "should allow the body responsible for game planning and management, the blocking of central server, server room and any or all the electronic terminals used in game development in the case of reasonable suspicion that a very serious offense has been produced.”
